FC 27 Kuwait – High Ping, Packet Loss and Routing Issues
I am experiencing a serious connection issue in EA SPORTS FC 27 in Kuwait, and other players in Kuwait and the Middle East are experiencing the same problem.
My normal connection is stable and I use a wired Ethernet connection directly to my PS5. EA’s Connection Quality Report shows:
- Ping: 64.39 ms
- Jitter: 4.35 ms
- Packet Loss: 0.1%
However, when playing FC 27, my in-game ping is usually 120–140 ms and can reach 150 ms. My normal ping used to be around 70 ms.
I also experience connection instability, lag, and suspected packet loss/jitter during matches. Other online games work normally with much lower and more stable latency, so this does not appear to be a general problem with my internet connection.
This issue is affecting multiple players in Kuwait and the Middle East, and it makes FC 27 extremely difficult to play.
I have already tried the usual troubleshooting steps, including using Ethernet and restarting my network equipment.
I purchased the Ultimate Edition of FC 27, but the high and unstable ping is preventing me from properly enjoying the game.
Please investigate the EA server routing/data centers serving Kuwait and the Middle East and provide an update on whether this is a known regional issue and when a fix can be expected.
