FC 27 PS5 – Recurring Menu Freezing
I’m experiencing a frustrating issue in Ultimate Team on PS5.
The menus completely freeze for approximately 20 seconds every 1-2 minutes. This happens across all Ultimate Team menus, including:
- Store
- Squad
- Club
- Transfer Market
- Player Search
- SBC
The issue does not occur during actual matches or in other game modes.
Troubleshooting I’ve already tried:
- Uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
- Cleared the PS5 cache.
- Cleaned the console.
- Deleted DLC Assets Update 1.
- Tested another PSN account.
- Tested another monitor.
- Tested other games, including BO6, with no issues.
I also tried deleting all saved squads.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Has anyone found a permanent solution? Could this be a bug related to Ultimate Team squad data or EA servers?

I fixed the Ultimate Team menu freezing by setting up Port Forwarding on my router for my PS5:
- 1935 – TCP
- 3074 – TCP/UDP
- 3478 – UDP
- 3479 – UDP
- 3480 – TCP
I used my PS5’s local IP address (IPv4) as the Internal Server for all rules, saved the settings, and rebooted the router.
