Festive fixtures badge bug

I had badge progress of 1550/2000 of Festive fixtures. I used the TOTY extra time tokens in star scout for obtaining Festive Fixtures players and spent around 250m coins to max the Festive Fixtures badge. Now, after maxing the Festive Fixtures badge my team OVR should have been 120 (Base 114+ 5 Ranks + Max Festive Fixtures Badge).

But it's still 119. The problem appears to be that Festive Fixtures badge Max level was acquired after start of TOTY Event.The +1 OVR acquired after start of TOTY Event through Maxed out Festive fixture badge is not reflecting.

If that was the idea, why not notify the players beforehand so we would not have wasted our coins and fodders. If it's a bug, kindly resolve it ASAP as it's unfair to play division rivals (VSA and MM) against stronger players with -1 OVR difference despite having same badges and teams, just that acquiring the badges sometime after them. If the badges are not expired, there is no reason to not reflect the plus +1 OVR.
