Fouls being so inconsistent and randomly allowed

How can a player be brought to the ground by spamming the press button, it’s a foul anytime I do it but when other do the play goes on. Worst thing that happened to me at least 10 times was my playing getting ran through by a player and then that player touches the ball and it’s called a foul on me because the robot thinks I held him. There’s a big inconsistency with fouls and I feel like the robot just gives to the player who currently has the ball as if it was a 50-50 instance🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️
