idk if it’s some kind of bug or something but when i try to redeem a gift card code it just doesn’t work says invalid
Are those codes showing as EA Gift Cards or Origin Gift Cards? Could you please reach out to our EA Help team so they can check your EA Wallet and verify whether the code is valid?

Where exactly are you trying to redeem the gift card (in-game, App Store/Google Play, webstore, etc.)? What type of gift card is it, and where was it purchased?

The cards are physical Origin gift cards (2x 25€), purchased yesterday in a retail store in Germany. The store confirmed they were properly activated.
I am trying to redeem the gift cards on the official EA website (ea.com/redeem) as well as in the EA App. In both cases, the codes are shown as invalid / not valid.
When I first entered the codes in the EA App, they were briefly recognized as 25€ gift cards. However, when I attempted to redeem them, it still showed an invalid error. Now the codes are no longer recognized at all and immediately show as invalid.
I also found several German forum posts from around four months ago describing the same issue (codes being recognized, then invalid, then sometimes working again). This makes me think it could be a recurring system issue rather than a store activation problem.

they are origin gift cards but show as EA gift cards and are being recognized again. i have tried to reach out multiple times but i have just been told to go back to the store where i got them.
