FC MOBILE NO RESET

We really need the reset this season but EA will postpone the game reset until the end of the next season 25/26 (Maybe, not official).

My understanding is that there will be no reset this year.

What makes a reset game fresh and interesting for you?  I personally like that the amount of time (and little bit of money - i am a sucker for a star pass) that i have put into the game is not lost, and i don't feel that just because a reset will give me the same events, but lower ranked players, that i will get anything extra out of the game.

That's just my opinion though ...

The reset is a scam so that EA can make more money. How would the reset help us(f2p)? We now have decent squads with decent players on all positions. Imagine how long it will take us to rebuild the squad. P2P users will have an advantage because they will be able to rebuild the squad quicker. Not to mention that after the reset we will get an amount of resources (players, gems, etc) based on the values of our squads. Guess who will get the most resources? The reset will only make us not to be so angry when we loose. If you are a new starter now you can easily build a decent team with the 108 - 109 card from the 3k gem packs.

Yeah, I’m with you. A reset hurts more players than it helps. I just wish EA would spend some time and energy improving matchplay. They waste all their resources churning out new cards cuz that’s what keeps the P2Ps spending. Almost forgotten is making the actual football fun to play!

I disagree about the EA making more money part. No reset means the market will die, which also means store packs and shards will become the main way to build your team. 

A reset will revive the market and make players affordable again. As f2p I made crazy teams back then only by saving coins, but now I can barely change anything because I'm only relying on 3k gem packs and getting one or two players with shards (I'm still using the outdated Messi and Zidane cards that I got 7 months ago), and I'll have to spend on fc points if I want to make any more progress.

Even I won't talk of a reset but would suggest that EA focuses more on making the events interesting than just introducing high ovr player cards that look overpowered only in numbers but not in the game. Why am I playing the same skill game 5 times each in this event? That's the point. An event has to look like something worth participating and putting efforts than just doing daily chores. If the events get interesting to play, the players can go all in. And another thing that I feel about the demand for reset, which might be an unpopular opinion, is that the very idea of reset amongst players is that it would bring everyone to 0 and give some handy rewards based on previous season which would only serve as a hopeful chance. But unless the events get interesting, nothing would work.

The players on the market come from p2w players. By the time they will start adding players on the market they would allready a difference of 2 or 3 ovr points. And what's wrong with having players from events and store packs. If you have a decent team from the captain event you can take three players to improve your squad. I think it's more than enough. If you also took three from the Ragnarok event you allready have half a team. I do think they should fix the market but by resetting the game is not the solution. It will give the false impression they fix it. The market is useless now because most of the cards are untradable and because the players we got are better than the one on the market. They should go back to the old format where all cards should be sellable which will offer more options ( by being able to use two medium player that we use as subs and the coins that we gather to buy a good card to use in the first team) and will also lower the prices due to the inflation of cards. 

The problem with skill games will never be solved. I don't see how they could make them interesting. At one point no matter what they make thy will become repetitive and boring. That's just a way of making us play the game daily. Unless they make the events really hard or make them playable with real opponents, or just add H2H and VS games so that the players skills make the difference I don't see what they can do. They could take them out and replace the gems from the H2H groups ranking with shard. And then the rewards we get will depend on the number of games we play and the number of games that we win. A lot of you want to turn this game into a single, offline game. You are asking for new skill games, for career mode and new ways of collecting cards (eyther by improving the gem packs luck or the market). The main focus should be on the H2H matches. If we would have a fair gameplay, a gameplay based on skills, a more complex gameplay where we could choose between driblling, passing short or just playing on the flanks with long ball on to the striker, depending on our team, skills or just preferences and not be forced to play just how EA tells us to by favouring certain game styles( see the period when everybody was just taking the ball onto the flanks and do those ridiculous turns over and over, or the fake shots and finesse shots, or now when people just take the ball to a point and then turn back hopping for a player to make a run). I think we should be able to to all those things in a game. I think there should be a balance between all of them and then we would have matches against players that like to pass a lot, against players that take the ball to the flanks and cross etc. It would be really interesting to be able to choose a formation based on our game style and buy the players required for those styles. Now strong, tall strikers are useless. It's impossible to pass the ball in the bax, corners and crosses are useless, and defending is mostly done by AI. Through balls miss the players interceptions don't make any sense and have their own logic, etc.

That doesn't even come close to (for example) the Euros event last year where I built the best squad possible using only tradable cards, compared to the current captains event where I only got one card (Marquez) and have 1200 shards barely for a great card, I can definitely say it's a lot more difficult to upgrade my squad.

That is partially correct but the main reason is that the coins rewards are heavily disproportionate with the inflated market. You can barely make 20M coins a day from rewards while a half decent card costs 1B coins.

Hello EA FC Mobile Team,

I would like to share some feedback regarding the decision not to reset teams in the new season. I believe this is a bad idea because a full reset gives everyone a fresh start and makes the game exciting again. Without a reset, many players (including myself) will feel discouraged to join or return since they will be far behind existing players, which means fewer new and returning players overall. This also reduces the motivation to spend money on packs, passes, and events, as players know they cannot catch up. A fresh start usually creates hype on social media and keeps the community engaged, while no reset could lead to many players losing interest over time.

I really enjoy FC Mobile and want it to keep growing, so I hope you will reconsider this decision and bring back the team reset to keep the game fun and fair for everyone.
