Mascheranos for Rank Up

I played for 2 weeks continuously to obtain 4 mascheranos and when I used it to rank up my player from purple rank to red.. it showed 80% and it turned out to be a failure and it happened 2 times in a row.. is that really an 80% chance to rank up a card?

EA needs to make it easier to obtain mascheranos if they're gonna play with probability like this

ok - so the issue here is not really the amount of Mascherano that are available, there are at least 10 available from the current event, and even more if you are doing the weekend challenges and extra time stiff.

the issue is trying to rank up players with 80 percent success to save yourself one or two cards … it’s not worth the risk, as you are losing four or eight cards for the sake of saving one or two.

80 percent chance of success means 20 percent chance of failure … the odds are not cumulative either, it’s not a guaranteed 8 out of ten will be successful, the odds are reset every time, so every time you have a 20 percent chance of failure.

I only ever rank up at 100 percent, I prerty much only ever rank to level 4, with one player at level 5 to ensure I get the extra 1 OVR for my team, and I have over 100 Mascherano available.

If you want to get best value out of your Mascherano, only ever tank at 100 percent, and only rank players that are going to both improve OVR and be part of your main team for some time

It's still difficult to gather mascherano's I feel. And very costly to acquire them from the store.

I still feel it could be made a little easier to obtain mascherano's in the game so it would help us upgrade the players we get as we already put in a lot of efforts to obtain them.

Beanie_22684​ tbf, getting Macheranos has become easier lately. Few tips,

• Play the scouting camp using the 2 token you get every week. That's total 4 Macheranos.
• You get 2 Macheranos every week from exchange. Need to trade in 450ovr worth of players for each, not a big deal.
• Recent events like Captains had a lot of URP's in rewards.
• You can do exchange in Daily Chronicles, if you have enough tokens.
• I've rarely got URP's from Heros Chronicles and daily login rewards.

In short, I've nearly 90 URP's even after ranking 9 players of my starting XI to Gold level.

As mendozzamagic​ suggested, never take chance trying to rank up even at 90% chance of success.
