I’d vote for making the controls actually work, lol! I can’t tell that they DO anything. For example, I’ve had the “offside trap” selected for months now and I don’t draw more than one offsides call a week (out of 40-50 matches?). So, either the programmers don’t know what an offsides trap is, OR the Manager Mode “controls” don’t actually control anything. Judging by the fact that it doesn’t matter whether I turn down shooting frequency to the minimum (my guys still fire ridiculous shots from +30yds away), I’d say it’s the latter—Manager Mode is nothing but a simulation and user “management” is a fiction. If I’m wrong about that then EA has a LONG, LONG way to go to actually make the “management” part mean something. As it stands, the results are very clearly scripted and the user is wasting their time playing with those sliders.
