We miss the soul of Fifa mobile 22&23

Dear EA SPORTS FC Mobile Team,

I’m writing this because I genuinely love this game — and because many of us miss what it used to feel like.

FIFA Mobile 22 and 23 had something special. The game was simple, fun, rewarding and addictive. The events felt exciting, building a team felt meaningful, and every login gave us a reason to play. We weren’t playing just for bigger numbers — we were playing because the game was genuinely enjoyable.

Today, many players feel that this soul has been lost.

We don’t want everything copied exactly from the past. We want the feeling back: better events, meaningful rewards, enjoyable gameplay, a satisfying progression system, and a game that respects both casual and dedicated players.

Everyone can see that FC Mobile still has enormous potential. The game is not beyond saving — it is capable of becoming something incredible again.

Sometimes the secret to a great game is not making everything more complicated.

It is making it simple, fun and memorable.

That is exactly what FIFA Mobile 22 and 23 achieved.

Please make FC Mobile 27 the year when we can finally say:

“The soul of FIFA Mobile is back.” ❤️

We still believe in this game.

Please give us a reason to love it like we did before.

  • All the community can pray is EA employees one day see these and atleast give it a thought about how they're destroying the game

Agree with all of these points they’ve systematically en-💩-fied the game over the last year.

Yep, I don't see much hope but just play it coz I like football.. What's killing it is the heavy in game monetisation and lack of improvements in game play.. lot of times it's old wine in a new bottle type of stuff.

I feel the day old event based shards system was removed, the game started the steep decline for me.

Removal of URPs was another bad idea wout giving any option to make an untradeable player become trade able.

Badges were bad idea when you get the same low ovrs player each time, so it's almost impossible to complete the final stage on the badge.

Removing trade able player packs by gems sealed it for me.  Coz it shows they don't want people to take any kind of returns even after buying a high ovr.

  • Here’s hoping, but I just don’t see any evidence coming out of EA that they care. There’s feedback given in here literally every day and 90% of the time it’s met with total crickets. I’ve played every day for going on 20 months and I’ve been active in the forums throughout. In that time I’ve seen virtually no substantive improvements to gameplay. Meanwhile, we’ve all witnessed significant degradation of user value/reward. The last year has seen EA monetize the game like never before. Never have we had to work so hard (or pay so much) to obtain so little, and the rate of card churn systematically devalues everything we win/buy within a few weeks. That would be bad enough, but, in the meantime gameplay is mediocre at best and is so erratic that you never get to enjoy the game for any length of time (not even back-to-back matches!).

We’ve begged and pleaded with EA to address points of consistent pain and, instead, they waste our time polling us on what soundtrack we want. That’s like asking what color lipstick we want to apply to a pig, lol! And it just goes to show how callously out of touch they are with the community (most of whom are only still here because we freaking love the sport of football and still remember a time when we loved EA’s “FIFA” franchise). Alas, those numbers are dwindling, right along with all the goodwill EA built up for over a generation. It’s a truly sad state of affairs.
