I am creating this thread because the current state of defending and goalkeeping in FC Mobile is completely ruined. In the past, having a high-OVR goalkeeper and solid defenders actually meant something because they would actively protect the goal and make crucial blocks. Now, after all the recent nerfs, they are completely useless.
Every match has turned into a high-scoring where it is impossible to stop the opponent from scoring. Goalkeepers fail to execute basic diving animations, and defenders just watch the ball pass right through them without putting up a fight. It feels like EA intentionally broke these core mechanics just to force players into wasting their coins and shards on new cards that perform exactly the same as basic gold cards.
My goalkeeper couldn't save shots even my goalkeeper is 120 Thibaut courtois champions. He conceded low shots that are easy to save.
facts: the current diving animations are broken, Icon keepers are ruined, and tall keepers perform worse than short ones while the defender AI leaves massive empty spaces.
