Stuck on loading screen

Since the past 18+ hours, the game is stuck on the screen. The intro animation with "ea sports, it's in the game" happens with the sound. Then a small loading. Then it gets stuck on the screen where the animation toggles between a football field icon and a football icon with ea written in it.
