Hi @Bengals1408, Your BIOS is whats used when your PC first starts before you see your operating system (windows). Each BIOS screen can look a bit different depending on your Manufacturer, so I would reference any use manual you have for how to access and navigate it.
To check if you have Secure Boot enabled you can try the following steps:
- Go to Start.
- In the search bar, type msinfo32 and press enter.
- System Information opens. Select System Summary.
- On the right-side of the screen, look at BIOS Mode and Secure Boot State. If Bios Mode shows UEFI, and Secure Boot State shows Off, then Secure Boot is disabled. what if the issue persists and secure boot shows its enabled
Same issue. I've tried everything. Going to just refund pretty quick.
Hello,
I'm also having this issue with BIOS/secure boot enabled. Are there any workarounds you or your team knows about to fix the secure boot issue?

HI @blinkangels @wspchase @4_2_0__GREENfn
I wanted to confirm this issue has continued to persist for you?
If so can you try the following steps to verify Secure Boot shows as enabled:
To confirm you have enabled Secure Boot:
- Open Powershell as admin
- Windows key -> type 'powershell' -> Run as Administrator
- In the window that comes up, type:
Confirm-SecureBootUEFI
If it shows as true and you keep running into issues with it crashing and going back to EA App, or if shows false try reenabling in your BIOS.
Cheers!
- Open Powershell as admin
Says it’s been enabled. I’ve been running into this issue now for 5 days and it’s pathetic. Instead of giving everyone the fix for the issue they like to send us fixes that don’t work for us. The EA Anticheat is horrendous, it barely even loads let alone runs. Need an actual fix for this
This was my initial issue days ago. Mine was already enabled but EA's junk wouldn't recognize it. The fix for me was to disable it, shut down restart, re-enable it, shut down restart a few times until EA's anti-cheat decided to work. Good luck because this alone is just the first of countless issues you'll have to hurdle to even try and play. Good luck
@Curtislw6I’ll give it another try but EA needs to figure their stuff out and actually listen to the community.
No doubt regarding EA. I can tell you this regarding my issue...when I first encountered the problem, although secure boot was enabled, after I MB BIOS disabled/enabled it a few times and cycled computer on/off...when it finally did decide to work there is now a blue progress bar that comes up everytime on the white Anti-cheat box that was never there when it would not work. Might just be my experience though. Just my 2cents 🙂
@Curtislw6My progress bar won’t load unless I’m opening the app off a fresh pc boot. But regardless it just crashes and brings me back to the EA App
