I'm on PC, playing Superstar only, and the game keeps crashing mid game. Sometimes I can get a full game in first, but I haven't made it past two full games without it crashing since the last update. Wasn't doing this before the last update. I've restarted my PC several times in over the last couple of days, so it seems like something with the last patch.
I am on X box one Series X and it keeps crashing. It all started since the latest update. EA come on you guys should really be on the ball.
- MrHWY62611 months agoNew Adventurer@EA_Illium I’m on Xbox series S. It seems to be an issue platform wide. I have seen PC Xbox, and PS players all reporting the same bug. Do you know if this is something we are just going to have to wait for an update? Any time frame? If it’s going to be weeks, so be it. I just don’t ant to keep trying all these troubleshoots and nothing working.

I feel like you aren’t even trying… literally every system is having the same issue. Its not the platform. Its the game. Its been ongoing since the update tuesday, and you guys still seem unaware. Just glancing through here and reddit i know it is happening to everyone who plays superstar. I can see once EA gets our money you have no incentive to make the product playable. Can upu provide an email or a phone number to contact? This chat room crap is getting nowhere.
I literally been getting kicked my superstar career for a whole week now I paid 70$ to be able to play the career mode I’ve done everything Sony told me to do I reset my console multiple times deleted my game multiple times for me to still get CE-108255-1 error like I’m really starting to get frustrated because everytime I start a game I’m getting something went wrong with this game or app this needs to get fixed asap

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for letting us know what you're running into with Madden 25. I wanted to check with this thread who might still be running into crashing when attempting to play Superstar?
If you are still crashing, try the following steps if you have not already.
Xbox
Spoiler- Make sure you have the latest software update.
- Perform a power cycle.
- Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
- Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
- Reinstall the game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal drive to see if that helps.
PlayStation
Spoiler- Make sure you have the latest software update.
- Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
- Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
- Perform a power cycle.
- Enter Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database
If this continues let us know the following:
- EA ID (PSN ID/Gamertag):
- Which platform are you on?
- Are you getting an error message?
- Does this happen when loading into a specific mode or performing an action in a mode?
- If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
- If on PC, please share a DxDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number

Same issue still going on. XBox Series X. Gamertag: Insta Buzz. No codes, game just freezes for 2-4 seconds and then I'm directed to the XBox main menu. Game relaunches from scratch, it completely closes out.
Tried all of these steps several times. Still crashes… I’ve played the same first quarter against the Eagles at least a hundred times… trying different troubleshooting I research and repeating the steps over and over again… Please fix as soon as possible….

crashes when playing superstar literally play one quarter then crashes it’s been doing this for about 2 weeks now
I’m on series X also. This is beyond ridiculous every year I feel like you all are just taking our money!! You fail us year after year. My NCAA dynasty also mysteriously doesn’t work anymore. We are sick of this *

There is no error message on the Xbox Series X, the game just freezes for about 1-2 seconds and then immediately crashes to Home Screen.
There is not enough time to screen shot this issue, but if you check any current streamer channel playing superstar on madden, you will see exactly what we are all complaining about in 15 mins or less.. the game is unplayable across multiple consoles and based on Reddit search we are talking about thousands of players… all since 9/3 update.
The update has a big in it, EA needs to find it and fix it.
the easy fix to this issue, would be to bring back “Quick Resume” in next update, allowing for when your game crashes or your console turns off, you go back to the same point in the game, or at least drive… this would stop majority of complaints until issues is solved, we are just tired of wasting time on this game.

Having the same issue on my PS5. It's always in the 3rd quarter and it goes right back to dash. Game completely crashes out. So I can't even contuine my career.
It's not a online issue. As it crashes back to dash.
It's not a hard drive issue as the game is installed to external hard drive and no other game is crashing.
Done this a ton of times. Not working. That update messed everything up
I've done this (several times) already, it's still dashboarding me. Why not just remove the update so we can finish our games 🤯? This is literally a virus and i'll be surprised if EA doesn't get sued for sending it's customers a virus instead of an actual patch.

Madden it has been over 3 weeks.. yall created an invalid coded update that has ruined the game across consoles... Reddit.. multiple ea threads and no response on a solution because it has to do with the coding of the game... its unfixable otherwise we would have figured out a solution before you bums did it.. i want a refund or the game fixed tomorrow or some notice of effort dedicated to this fix...
you ran a scam with me on Microsoft buying the deluxe package (NCAA & MAdden) since now i want a refund outside the 14 day Microsoft window

All: EA has no interest in communicating or solving the issue. Contact the better business bureau and let them advocate for you. They will represent you and seek a refund. If enough people file a complaint, it can become class action.
