I agree it's a much better User vs. User experience. I play 12 minute quarters currently on SIM, but however they code and balance the game within SIM to work from a CPU vs CPU experience and then further add the difference in difficulty to the mix, just winds up feeling like a scripted mess when playing User vs. CPU right now. COMP feels easier because you don't have as much CPU interference because it's designed for User vs. User gameplay. SIM, however, is a different type of monster and none of it is balanced well. Having SIM, COMP, and ARC tossed in the mix create a very complicated balance of difficulty, where All-Madden/SIM would essentially be most difficult, and Rookie/ARC being the easiest. It creates a bit of a mess though when the difficulties and play styles all operate differently.
