That’s because the game is made for the online “kiddies” who could give a flying football about realism - simulation - or statistical accuracy…
I won't say that the devs and many other people working on this game don't care about its quality, but the bottom line is, MUT is all the upper echilon at EA is going to care about because that's what brings them the most revenue. It's literally ruined this game and gives no time for the lower teams to properly fix it as long as they stay on the same yearly approach.
