Well there is an answer to this MAYBE. You would have to create a new microsoft account and a new EA account (making sure that the new EA account isn’t linked to a prior EA account email address). Then you could request a refund for the first purchase of madden. Then you purchase madden on the new account. Then you link your new microsoft account to your new EA account. You could then access online features. But you would have to switch your account to the new one every time just to play madden, and you would have to friend request all ur friends on the new account just to play madden with them. All BS. Super dumb system and 0 foresight from microsft/EA into these problems.
Respectfully nobody is making a whole new account to play madden. Plus we shouldn't even have to we spent $60 plus on a game we can't play.
I’m having the same issue since day one haven’t been able to log in a single time….. im using a wireless connection on my Xbox series x
Everyone that is having the same problem should get a hold of him attorney and start a class action lawsuit we all want our money back we all want reimbursed for our purchase the purchase of something that was misrepresented overcharged for being understandable come out to fix problems like this got a hold of me in my link I'm getting a hold of an attorney to start a class action lawsuit against EA sports
I’m also having the same issue
I've tried all the "solutions" since Friday. Nothing has worked. I talked to a customer service representative and they said it is a known problem they are working on. I asked when they would fix it and they would not commit to a date or time. There said something like there is no known eta. My guess is they are going to do nothing besides slide this under the carpet. This is false advertisement considering you need to connect to the servers to access 90% of the game.
The game just released and there's already so many bugs and glitches it's ridiculous. Now people have to refund the game if they can some people cant. And they can't play Madden 23 and might have to wait until next year to try Madden 24 to see if it's the same.
I figured out my problem, like you guys i was trying to play anything, mut, fotf, anything and it wouldnt do anything. I would get the error with no message. and it was just a loop.
I kept trying all day and couldnt figure it out.
Then i download the EA app on my pc, and tired to link my PSN to there. It said my PSN was already connected to another EA.
Then i traced my last 3 emails i had used and it was a older PSN username, that wasnt even on my PS5. But im guessing since i played Madden 17 (last madden i played), i think i might have used that PSN username and linking ea to that PSN when playing madden 17.
Once i tracked it down all i did was add that older PSN profile username, and then reopened Madden 23 and bam i was in.
I tired to use the new profile i created with PS5 (the same one i was using today) and it did not work, it has to be the PSN profile that is connected to EA.
PLEASE EVERYONE TRY THIS!!!
PLEASE EVERYONE READ THIS IF YOU ARE GETTING THE LOOPING RESET PASSWORD
It doesn't work and they already said it's on there end not ours
it is 100% on their end. I am able to log into and play online in madden 22 still with the same EA account and microsoft account on the same xbox but then whenever I log into madden 23 it gives the same error message saying that my account is not linked to an EA account when I was just playing with it linked on madden 22.
