- @EA_Kent Hi, I'm using a Samsung S20 FE. It's a new phone with lots of memory. I've tried the steps you've mentioned earlier but this hasn't resolved it.

Have you tried making any changes to the graphics settings in-game to see if that makes any difference at all?

@EA_KentYes, I've tried it on the middle and lowest graphic settings and still get the problem both on offence and defence. Seems to be mainly when a tackle is made. Sometimes the black screen will go after 4 seconds, but sometimes it doesn't go at all. Pressing the back button makes the black screen disappear for a split second but not enough time to press anything.
I have the exact same problem with a similar phone. I'd love a fix for that.

Does it seem like it's happening with particular game modes, or is it just any time you're playing no matter what?/Kent
- @EA_Kent It seems to be all modes where you need to select a play after a down is over.

Got it, thanks. Is your Madden NFL 21 Mobile account linked up with a Facebook, Google Play, or Apple ID? If so, can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if that helps at all? If you're playing on a Guest account, I would not recommend uninstalling the app without linking up the account first so your progress is saved. For more information on how to link the accounts check out the EA Help website.Let me know if you're still running into the same black screens after reinstalling the app.

I'm having the same issue as has been described in this thread.
I use a Galaxy S20 and I've tried the troubleshooting actions you've suggested:
- I reduced my graphics settings to the lowest level
- I uninstalled and reinstalled the app
The only gameplay option where I find that this isn't an issue is in LvL tournaments. In all other games: seasons, arena, challenges involving games (like win the game after halftime, win in the 4th quarter, win in OT, etx...), this issue persists.
Are you guys working on this issue? Is there some kind of setting on my phone that can help fix this problem?

I bought a new Samsung S20 5G (model SM-G981B/DS) 3 days ago. It's completely updated to Android 10 with UI 2.5.
I'm having the same trouble with screen turning to black during drive based play. Immediately after a play is called dead it turns black, mostly it lasts about 5 seconds and then it's ok.
I can't see the animations at the end of the play. In LvL it's not always, and if it happens, it lasts 1 or 2 seconds. In season it happens on O and D, but more frequently it doesn't turn back to normal, resulting in delay of game. In Arena it's also tough to stay under the 10 minutes limit from time to time. To my knowledge it happens on pass and run plays.

- @BeastGFL Not heard anything back yet. There has been an update to the app but if anything it's made it worse.
As far as i can see we all have Galaxy S20s or its variants. All of them got a 120 Hz refresh panel. Maybe EA has no proper support for that since most Android Games are capped at 60 Hz. I you are already in touch with EA support, you might pass over this idea so they can take a look at
I tried with changing the frequency to 120Hz and 60Hz. Also lowered pixelrate. Both had no influence.
It for sure is impossible to play Arena tournaments with this problem. I had to get my old phone back to play. It for sure can't continue like this. We're missing out on a lot like this, but we all know EA doesn't compensate for it.
My league mates will go berserk, but ima quit if it's not resolved quickly.

Thank you for the account examples. I've only received a couple of account examples thus far, so if any of you haven't sent me a DIRECT MESSAGE yet with the details I requested earlier in the thread, it would help our teams out a ton.
Can you all respond back to me here next time it happens to you? They could use a timestamp on when this happened to determine what went wrong from the back-end the moment you experienced it.

@BeastGFL Thank you, passed it along! On season mode it's the worst, screen stays black more often then it clears. I've been trying to just tap where I know the right spot is. On quick double tap I get results, it selects the corresponding type or play. Even scrolling seems to work. It's still under 50% success rate, but it's something. Might also help development team?

With the new update I can't run the game on my old phone anymore. Please fix this ASAP. Like this one can't play the game and enjoy it anymore.
In season mode (needed for AB achievements) it stays dark more often than it clears. Only option is selecting plays in the dark.
And Arena is a constant time pressure. I can only hope it doesn't get worse in lvl!
I can't imagine that there's no one at EA development team that has a Samsung S20 or Note to reproduce the problem. When tracking the test account, can't imagine it being that hard to find the problem. It's getting more and more frustrating, annoying, hindering, ....
I need season mode and Arena to complete goals/achievements, but like this I can't commit to it.
Is there any hope this will get fixed shortly?
