Where did you hear this? I hope they dont change any cutscenes in any of the games tbh. Improve the graphics but if they changing the scenes it would suck :/

‘I do think a lot of things have evolved since [the original games] but I don’t know if I would say we were ultra-concerned about it or anything like that, but there were considerations’, admits Walters. ‘Kevin actually called out some camera cuts that were just… why was that focusing on Miranda’s butt? So in some cases we said, ‘Okay, we can make a change there’. But ultimately, to change an entire character model or something like that wasn’t really… it was a decision that was made as part of many creative decisions and just showing it at the best possible fidelity that we could going forward is really the choice for all of the art that we had.‘

Miranda is one of my favourite Mass Effect characters, she had such a complex and interesting character but like so many complex female characters of that era... look at Jack's outfit in Mass Effect 2, it was gratuitous sex appeal to sell the game and undermines Miranda Lawson as a whole.
My issue is not with her outfit and I love how beautiful Miri is (and her insecurities about it making sense) but the needless shots of her rear. There are ways a character can be framed without it.
@Allison_X5-734 you mean the era of good games? what is wrong with jacks outfit? It was part of her character. People who think "sexy woman is wrong" are a very small % but western devs always listen to the twitter warriors and anita Sarkisian for some reason. Cyberpunk is the most sexualized game in history and all the bad things about it had nothing to do with that or the people crying on twitter about it. Plenty more examples but all come from devs from other countries...
I knew they would find a way to ruin the port.
We already know they made femshep uglier on purpose as well(like every female character).
Back to foreign games it is then I guess.."yesterday
I preordered on steam and when i opened the forums up i see tons of threads saying they changed cut scenes of her azz so it doesn't show it?
IS this true? That would be a shame because i really don't want to cancel the pre order... But being EA i expected something like this to happen. Old ME versions it is." - Princess Catra
Yeah I was worried something like this would happen because of how EA and BioWare have changed the direction and audience they are trying to appeal to. People get upset about anything these days that appeals to male gamers who like attractive women in their games.
If it is confirmed that EA censored or changed Miranda or her appearances in the game, I'll definitely be skipping this.
Yea I saw this too and I am so disappointed in this. Came on here trying to find a way to provide my feedback on this subject. If it is accurate then I will not be purchasing the game. Censorship of any kind is wrong. Be it sexual, violence, profanity, political or social censorship it doesn't matter, it is wrong. The only "censorship" that should be done is what the individual censors for themselves. No one else should be telling you or deciding for you what you consider to be acceptable. If you don't like it then shoiw you don't like it buy not buying it. If enough people don't buy it then they will get the message. As it is, if Bioware supports censorship then I will show them that is not acceptable and not be purchasing this game or any other Bioware products.
Yup cater to the audience that doesn't ever play their games lol.
already canceled my pre order.
Also rip mass effect 4 lol

Sounds like a gentle reframing here and there. Shepard sitting in her black dress was never that classy in the original. 😉
Nothing for anyone to be getting worked up about I suspect.
Why couldn't Bioware offer the OPTION to have the altered scenes? Why not leave it up to us to decide on what kind of gaming experience we want to have? Just have a simple check box in the game that makes it so you can choose to have the alter scenes or not. I mean if they can do that with the original Mortal Kombat for the Genesis where you had to input a code on your controller to get the blood, (ACABABBA, I still remember the code) why can't they put it as an option in the settings? Why can't every dev do this and leave it up to US?!
