Can't Pickup Weapons

This is my second time playing through MELE, the first time was around release with no issues.

However, this time, I'm currently in ME2 and I am unable to pickup weapons or upgrades. Currently on Omega, doing the Archangel mission and came across the weapons shipment... Unable to scan the weapons. Came across the rifles in his nest, unable to pick them up.

I can pick up thermal clips, I can pick up medkits, and have no other issues. But, I can't pickup any of the weapons even though I have the interaction prompt on screen, and the frame is blue. I have looked all over google trying to use different terms and phrases to find a fix, and I've been unable to find anything that works.

So far I have:

Restarted.

Changed resolution.

Changed from fullscreen to borderless to windowed.

Reinstalled.

None of it helped, none of it has allowed me to pick up the weapons. Is there a fix for this, or some workaround?

    @Natatha439 

    If you are on a PC try to repair the game.

    (Origin: Game Library > Right-click the game cover > Repair)

    (EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
    (Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

    As stated, I have already reinstalled the game completely in an attempt to fix this issue.

    That being said, I did attempt to verify the integrity through Steam, which (unsurprisingly) did not find any issues.

    Therefore, I am still stuck with this issue preventing me from progressing in the game in any meaningful way.

    @Natatha439 

    Reinstallation is not purging some files in the "Documents" folder, at lest not reliable, that is why I suggested repair.

    Do you or have you used any Mods?

    Create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

    I am having this same issue where I can't pick up any weapons or mods. I am on PC and using a few mods myself.

    Here is my attached dxdiag, but if you know could you also tell me how to figure this out on my own using the dxdiag?

    The DxDiag contains basic system informations and references to problems on the system due to WER (Windows Error Reporting) reports. 
    It rarely displays the cuprite just like that. So it is a mixture of knowledge about the OS, the meaning of entries in the DxDiag and experience.
    Nothing that could be taught on a forum like this. Sorry.

    Did you already tried to repair the game as mentioned in post 2?

    Do you know what framerate you're getting? Mass Effect 2 has a problem where you can't interact with objects if your performance is below a certain threshold. I don't know if this problem was fixed for the remaster.
