Ok, here's another weird coincidence. So Alec has been working on these crazy experimental implants (with Ellen) made to keep Ellen alive when she should be dead. During this time Miranda, Wilson, and the rest of Project Lazurus were working on these crazy experimental implants made to make Shepard alive when he/she should be dead. I think I got it now. The reapers are behind it all in the end. The only reason Alec and Ellen managed to develop the tech they did (implant and AI) is because the Reapers let them. Then the reapers found out about the Initiative and thought that starting all over with a new group of people would be a good idea. This way the new society in Andromeda would incorporate AI as a normal part of society before returning to the Milky Way to repopulate with AI controlled living beings. Of course then Shepard screwed things up and took over the Reapers or killed them and now all bets are off. Jien Garcen was murdered by a Reaper agent as she was finding out too much, but this Reaper agent doesn't realise the Reapers are bust. All SAMs are just unwittingly servants of the Reaper agent. But who that exactly is, well, that remains to be seen.... <quietly puts tin foil hat away>

Spender killed Jian and is working for Cerberus. Was put in place to achieve a position of power. Purposely spread decent in the ranks to split the nexus and allow him a stronger foothold. A higher position of power. Including purposely ditching the Krogan - the one species capable of surpassung humans due to their fast fertility and birth rates. He was probably hoping it would cause a war and have the Krogan wiped out before they could become an issue. Cerberus learned of the Kett and used that to their advantage, probably made a deal with them - we will give you the dna of the other aliens if you leave humans alone and give us Meridian. I don't care if TIM himself is around or not, the whole thing reeks of cerberus. Wouldn't be surprised of they are plotting a way to out Tann and put a human in charge. Addison would be next in line because they aren't going to give it to Kesh and our resident Turian is still too green and was also never part of the original command structure. He kinda fell into his position. Killing Tann would be too easy and draw too much attention, has to be something else, a way to publicly discredit him for now he isn't that much of an issue, so there is no rush. He is too much of a pushover and is busy sucking up to the human pathfinder so they can bide their time with him. And I could go on but thats enough. :D

They probably stole ideas from each other and other people working on implants, I'd suspect.

I thought Shepard was that voodoo doll which belonged to the Leviathan to reconquer Milky Way?

All I know is that Cerberus would never support a mission that benefits aliens. If they were behind it, there would only be humans in all those Arks.

Doesn't mean that for example Ellen Ryder couldn't be ex-Cerberus of course...

This is not necessarily true: Cerberus was about *supremacy* of humans, not really anti-alien. There were numerous aliens on Normandy-2, and TIM was not against cooperating with aliens if it benefited him.

So as long as Andromeda Initiative is given all the alien state-of-art equipment (plus copies of blueprints of alien toys go to TIM as well) and funds; AND if there is some way to make sure that humans will prevail (e.g. by sabotaging some of the other Arks, or otherwise supporting humans)... Why not?

My view is that if Cerberus wanted to spread their chances, they wouldn't back a mission to another universe bringing more Aliens than Humans. They would've also brought a bunch of their own to this Universe to manipulate the * out of everyone and there killing Jien might've been an unfortunate necessity, but letting Aliens run the show while things go to * especially...Nah I just don't really see it.

Mind you, nothing is 100% certain but I hold it for very unlikely.

And then Cora Harper - probably daughter to TIM and leader of Cerberus agents in Andromeda - instead of conspiring against those remaining aliens fell into Ryder... :-/

That doesn't explain why they would pour mega bucks into this as mysterious benefactor without demanding more humans and less aliens to be sent though.

And I don't know why Cora is 'probably' TIM's daughter. Is there something else than "omg she has uber biotics so she must be TIM's daughter"? I mean maybe I missed something here, but so far I've not seen anything to make that probable.
