I think, I did a mistake. @ Steam, the deluxe edition of Mass Effect 3 including all DLCs is at a discount, so I bought it there. Now, nothingt happens, I cannot start the base game, what was possibl...
So, what happened? I got Mass Effect 3 on April in 2014. At this time, Mass Effect 3 uses Origin as platform. It was a great game, I loved it, the campaign and the multiplayer too.
Next, I got the Legendary Edition on Steam and fell in love with Mass Effect 1 LE. A great remaster full of details. But Mass Effect 2 LE wasn't so good this time, a lot of bugs between the fights against, and especcially the Collectors, wasn't that easy, sometimes nearly impossible. But it looked better than the old Mass Effect 2. So I wanted to use my save game from ME1 LE (Steam) with my origin ME2 (Steam) and using this save game from origin Mass Effect 2 with Me3 LE. This is not possible, I know that , so I decided to get ME3, the old one, on Steam, to combine Mass Effect 2 Origin with it.
I did it and now here are the problems. Mass Effect LE is running perfect, Mass Effect 3, the old one on Origin, now EA App, is running perfect too, if its installed on another harddrive than MELE.
But if I am installing Mass Effect 3 (Steam), only MELE will be playable. If I try to run ME3 on EA App (Origin) it won't start.
So ME3 (EA App/Origin) is now installed on drive F: , MELE is installed on drive E: and ME3 (Steam) is installed in drive D:
I deleted Mass 3 (Steam) ((Drive D: )) and now I can play Mass Effect 3 EA App / Origin which is installed on drive F:
It sounds very complicated, I know, and if there are questons, do not hesitate to ask me if you want to help me.
