For some reason, the DxDiag is unable to display the WER (Windows Error Reporting) data, which is the most important information in such a case.
- Hit Windows key and X.
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
- Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter: (You can copy and paste the following cursive text.) DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth
- Press ENTER.
- If errors are found, notify us. If no errors were found repeat steps 1 & 2.
- Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
- Press ENTER.
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here.
- After it reaches 100% repeat steps 1 & 2.
- Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter: sfc /scannow
- Press ENTER.
- Post the message you receive at the end of the processes here
Also look at the Reliability monitor:
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Copy and paste "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in the new Window > hit “ENTER”
- Look if it has entries for the game EXE or EA app. > If yes double click at the last entry for the game executable or EA app, copy the info and save it to a text file.
Hi holger1405,
Thanks for replying. I did the steps you mentioned. DISM found and corrected some errors while sfc did not find any ("Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."). I also used "perfrom /rel" but it did not show an entry for either EA app or ME Andromeda.
How do I proceed?

Please create a new DxDiag, open it and scroll down to the end of the document.
If it still looks like this, follow the steps below: (If errors are listed, load it up.)I- Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
- In the new Window, type or copy and paste "%LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps" (Without the quotation marks) > Press ENTER
- Check to see if there are any "*.dmp" files named "MassEffectAndromeda.exe.dmp" in the ".Local\CrashDumps" folder.
- Zip 2 - 3 "MassEffectAndromeda.exe.dmp" files together and upload them at a free file hosting service like Dropbox, or you can use your OneDrive "public" folder
- Post the link here.
If there aren't any dump files of the game:
- Press the Windows key > Write: Command Prompt > Right click on "Command Prompt" in the search results > Run as administrator.
- Copy and paste:
reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\LocalDumps\devenv.exe" /v DumpType /d 2 /t REG_DWORD
into the prompt Window > Press ENTER. - Play the game until it crashes.
- After the game crashes, let all Windows crash dialogues finish.
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.> Type "%LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps" (Without the quotation marks) into the new window > Press ENTER.
- Zip 2 - 3 "MassEffectAndromeda.exe.dmp" files together and upload them at a file hosting service like Dropbox or you can use the OneDrive "public" folder.
Post the link here.

I tried doing all the steps above and I didn't get any dxdiag errors or any crash dumps on the CrashDumps folder. Anything else I can try?

Then it seems the game is not crashing but not starting at all. Are you sure it really starts up and crashes?
