Still a problem in Jan 2022, third leg goes to zero but the fight does not progress.
The first fight on Voeld went fine but second fight on EOS bugged.
Hey, just wondering if you tried the workaround I posted on the previous page? Only one person told me it worked so far so I don't know if it works for everyone but I still get emailed every time someone comments on this thead. 🙂
Bascially let your team mates kill the legs. I found the bug did not trigger if my team mates killed the legs. Don't fire on the legs yourself at all.

Did not shoot a single shot, and let the NPC do the work.
The same error persist with me with the architect at Elaaden.Many thanks for the theory, though!

Hi Hoopybees, not sure if you're still getting emailed about this thread but I just wanted to let you know that on April 13 2023, your workaround worked for me :-) I was experiencing that 'never dying third leg' bug on my first attempt on an Architect on Voeld (PC, normal difficulty). Then I went back to a previous save and tried it your way: did 90% of damage on the first leg (Black Widow + switching to any gun at the end to not exceed those 90% and destroy the leg accidentally), then let my crew finish the last 10% (consequently having those animations of the leg destroyed playing correctly) and repeated the process on leg 2 and 3. It worked great!!! I also entered the area on foot, left the Nomad in the small canyon at the entrance so it was never involved (not sure if it played a role but you never know). Anyway, thanks for saving me a huge headache 😇
