[PC] Possible workarounds for Mass Effect Legendary Edition launch problems.

I appreciate your volunteer efforts here.  I have followed all of your recommendations listed, and re- confirmed that my system is up to specifications for the game.  I am afraid this still has not worked.  Do you have any additional ideas or other resources you could point me at?

Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply.

You can do that  with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

      Your CPU is missing the AVX Instruction set.

      • Go here.
      • Download the updated custom luncher (Preferable form the Nexus mode page, it is free.)
      • Go to your ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\Launcher\" folder and rename the "MassEffectLauncher.exe" to "Old_MassEffectLauncher.exe" (Without the quotes)
      • Put the downloaded custom launcher in the ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\Launcher\" folder.
      • Try to start the game from the custom launcher.
