[PC] Possible workarounds for Mass Effect Legendary Edition launch problems.

Your CPU is missing the AVX Instruction set.

  • Go here.
  • Download the updated custom luncher (Preferable form the Nexus mode page, it is free.)
  • Go to your ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\Launcher\" folder and rename the "MassEffectLauncher.exe" to "Old_MassEffectLauncher.exe" (Without the quotes)
  • Put the downloaded custom launcher in the ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\Launcher\" folder.
  • Try to start the game from the custom launcher.

    @holger1405 Unfortunately the new launcher does not work either. The Launcher screen populates, but then it also does not run, it just goes back to the new launcher screen just like with the old launcher. Maybe I missed a minimum spec someplace?
