Need For Speed Hot pursuit does not start

The game isnt able to start playing on EA platform, when I try to play, it shows the comunicat: It was impossible to play the game. there is a mistake, that doesnt allow to play the game. Try again later. 

This problem is common with two different computers with two different operation system (Windows 10 and Windows 11) Two different processors (Intel, AMD) Both systems are supposed to be able to play the game.

I uninstalled and installed EA app

I cleaned up the cache 

i deleted everything from folders: Electronic Arts and Origin as it was recomended by technical support.

i reinstalled the game 

Nothing has worked out. Please help.

    Here are some additional troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check for Updates: Ensure that both your EA app and the game are fully updated. Sometimes, updates can resolve compatibility issues.

    2. Run as Administrator: Right-click on the EA app shortcut and select "Run as administrator." This can help with permission-related issues.

    3. Disable Antivirus/Firewall: Temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall software to see if it's blocking the game from starting.

    4. Check System Requirements: Double-check that your systems meet the game's minimum requirements. Sometimes even minor discrepancies can cause issues.

    5. DirectX and Visual C++ Redistributables: Make sure you have the latest versions of DirectX and the Visual C++ Redistributables installed, as some games require these to run properly.

    6. Windows Compatibility Troubleshooter: Right-click the game executable, go to Properties, then the Compatibility tab. Use the Compatibility Troubleshooter to see if Windows can find a suitable mode for the game.

    7. Log Files: Check the log files for the EA app and the game to see if there are any specific error messages. These can often provide clues about what might be going wrong.

    8. Network Issues: Ensure that your internet connection is stable. Try restarting your modem/router.

    9. Contact EA Support: If none of the above steps work, it might be best to reach out to EA support again with the log files and any specific error codes you might find.

    Usually one of the mentioned troubleshooting steps above will resolve the issue.

    Thank You for trying to help me,

    This is what I did

    1 Checking for updates EA app and Need For Speed (this is strange - when I download and install from EA, game might be old version?!) Nothing has happend.
    2. I Run as Administrator EA app. Nothing has happend.
    3. I Disable Antivirus/Firewall. Nothing has happend.
    4. I checked System Requirements. The game should run on max details. It used to work this way in the past.
    5. DirectX and Visual C++ Redistributables are the newest version and complete.
    6. Windows Compatibility Troubleshooter - none of the windows settings have helped.
    7. I don`t understand what is in log files, where can I find the problem?
    8. Network is fine. I checked speed and time response.
    9. I contacted EA Support - there is a bot - it cant help at all. The bot sent me to this page and shared with my problem. Next contact is impossible because chat isn`t visible next time on any computer, any browser.
    10. EA customer expirience. Email is in my language but link from this email send me to page in japanise language! This is insane!
    How can EA Support help me when they have such a mess around?

  • No problem @Bromu, I'm surprised nothing works honestly. Did they tell you anything else when you talked to EA support?

    Yes. Bot from chat told me that i need to clean the cache EA app and delete every file in Electronic Arts, Origin folder and restart my computer. After that I wasn`t able to get back to the chat anymore.  "Reopening the case" doesn`t work, it sends me to the articles that can help in troubles with games. There is no chat or email to contact with EA support. I sent  a message from "Bug reporting tool" in EA app almost week ago but no one has responded. ☹️

    Honestly, there is nothing more I can tell you or recommend. The only next step you can take it to continue trying to talk to support or you can try doing a fresh install of Windows. I had an issue with NFS Heat that was only fixed after doing a reinstall of Windows. There are no guaranty but truly we have tried everything that usually does the trick.

    Hi @danisoff .

    It`s been a week since I didn`t get an answer from EA Customer service. Does evrybody that buy games from EA must wait for months to get a help and play own games? Making bussines with EA means that i will only lose my money, time, and I won`t be able to play the games I have bought anyway.

    Pirate version work`s fine, original version isn`t working at all. Pirate version is for free and don`t need internet connection. I will never buy anything from EA ever again. EA is using good people like U @danisoff cutting coast and they don`t  take any responsibilities for thier products.

    Thank you @danisoff  for trying to help me. U are doing great job for a company that isn` worth it. EA suport is disastrous. I lost money and whole week to find answer why my legal version of the game is not working, and I still don`t know anything. My patience is over.

    Hey @Bromu I wanted to confirm if you are still running into this issue. 

    It looks like @danisoff has provided most of the steps we can recommend here on the forums. However, we can try to take a further look. 

    Is it possible to get a short video or screenshots of the error message you get and a DxDiag file?

    Thank you for jumping in, always much appreciated @EA_Illium. I have tried every step from the "troubleshooting book" but unfortunately nothing works for @Bromu. I hope you can help him out with a solution, once again thanks.

    Hey @EA_Illium 

    This problem is on 4 different computers with diffrent OS (Win 10/11) DxDiag doesn`t report any problems on any computer. EA App shows the same message: "An error to our end caused your launched to fail. Try again little later".  Lower there is bottom "Get" and "Ok" When i click "Get" the program sends me to my own game in my library. Ea Help told me that those games (Burnout Paradise and Need For Speed Hot Pusuit) have no support after one hour of trying to solve the problem on chat.

    I think that Electronic Arts took away my licence without my knowledge because Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered and Burnout Paradise Remastered isn`t sold as they would expect.

    This is what i did:

    I launched game as administrator

    I launched EA app as administrator

    I launched games with compatilility mode - every options

    I cleaned cache EA App

    I tryied to repair both of games 

    I installed the nevest drivers (all)

    I installed again DirectX and Visual C++

    I checked filesystem (sfc / scannow)

    I repaired register (with CCleaner and Glary Utilities)

    I turned off firewall and antivirus

    Each computer met the requirmants 

    I tryied launch my games on Intel and Amd processor, Nvidia graphics and AMD, integra and another card (Vega 8, gtx 1060 6GB, gtx 1050Ti...)

    Every computer has one common element - EA App. I think this is a source of the problems, without the licence I won`t be able to play this games regardles of what I do.
