Need For Speed Most Wanted activation code already in use

Hello,

First of all, I´m sorry for my English (I am  from Germany).

Today my parents gave me my Christmas present: Need For Speed Most Wanted (the limited edition, for the PC ). I was very happy about that, because i always liked the Need For Speed- games. When I wanted to activate the game, Origin told me that the code is already in use. My parent bought this game in a local store on last friday. I guess you can understand how disappointing it was to recognise that my parents just bought a present that does not work at all. If there is really someone using my activation code(which is difficult with an unwrapped game), is there also a way to show that mine is the original one?

In my opinion it just isn´t fair that someone who didn´t pay for the game uses it and I am not able to use it although I have the DVD and my parents paid for it.

As I already mentioned before, I would be happy to show that I am the legal owner of the game. I hope you can help me to solve my Problem.

Thanks in advance.

You will need to go back to your retailer and ask for a new code as he is eligible to give  you one in this matter but if he cant help then

For this you will need to contact Origin/EA support they will gladly help you whit this problem https://help.ea.com/en/origin go here press contact as give information press I still need help at the bottom of the page and then press start live chat and you will get a live chat whit an EA agent that will be glad to help you

if this helps pleas give XP to my account thanks

    Thanks for the fast answer.

The retailer was something like a Supermarket, so i don´t think that they are able to give me a new code.

I cannot see the " I still Need help" button. Will it appear again after Christmas?

Maybe it could help, but when I try to do the steps you told me to do, the happy holydays- website appears. Maybe I just need to wait until the 26th. Then I will see if your solution works.

    Thank you.

I'm not sure if you got what you needed, but I'm going to have to say EA's customer support   I lost my activation code, and while I understand it's my responsiblity to keep it, the game is 8 years old.  And because it wasn't registered like it is today, they didn't even want to help me for an activation code so my kids can play it.  I'll NEVER buy an EA game again.  I was told a supervisor can't make the decision (and was told one was not available).
