There was a dev out there, honestly can't remember for what game, that made some eye roller story about his daughter watching him play and asking why she didn't have representation so there was a huge movement with a lot of studios to essentially pander - We probably don't have much in the way of customization because this was never meant to be something huge in the first place, just knee-je r k reaction and easy way to tick a box.
