Forced to quit HUT Cup Chase due to players not moving

Same here, very annoying ... not only does the Cup Chase give out a poor reward as is but to miss out on one pack due to lousy servers is not ok =(:

I was playing the first Cup Chase playoff game and the game froze as I started the 3rd period.  The videos attached show that the 2nd ended fine and the third started with empty ice and a couple of things I did (i.e. changing strategies) to try to get it going again.  After this attempt you'll see that even though no gameplay happened, the players aren't at center ice, they're frozen elsewhere.  It's almost like the game had gone on behind the scenes.

This was a real bummer because while as an offline player I really really don't like that there's a reward trapped behind going fully undefeated (I think that just encourages playing on a lower skill level), this disconnect prevented me from even having a chance at that reward :(  

Hope this helps with the bug as well as helps y'all reconsider that undefeated pack.

Happened again on Game 1 of the finals.  Between the 1st and 2nd.  Both times the Opponent was the Tofino Ice Birds.  Feels like a cut scene is supposed to load but not locks up.  This time the entire game locked up when quitting the game and won't go back to the game menu.

I was in the last cup chase round and my last 2 game froze ! Very nice ! I hope we get compensation because I lost my time for basically nothing. Game also froze multiple time during intermission and also crashed a few more time when grinding the game to get to the playoffs. I play on series x by the way.

I'm experiencing a recurring issue in NHL 26 on my PlayStation 5. The game consistently freezes during Cup Chase mode, specifically when transitioning between periods in a match. The screen locks up completely, and I have to force-close the game and restart it.  

This has happened at least five times, always during the playoff phase. My system and game are fully updated to the latest versions.  

Additionally, I am connected via a wired gigabit network, so I don't believe the issue is related to connectivity.  

Could you please let me know if this is a known issue and whether a fix is being worked on? Any advice on how to resolve or avoid this would be greatly appreciated.

How is it possible to have this many problems with a single player mode?? Freezes, disconnects and now... just not giving people the win that they earned. I was 1-0 in Cup Chase (after losing my previous Cup Chases final 24th game because the game FROZE during the transition from 2nd to 3rd period in a game that I was up by 4 goals 🤬🤬🤬), and then jumped into my 2nd game of my new "season" and won it but at the end noticed I didn't get any XP, coins or any rewards which was suspicious. Go back to the main menu to see it decided to give me the L as I am sitting at 1-1. The lack of quality from this game is horrific even by EA's standards.

Yep mine just crashed too. 15-0..——>..15-1.

Got a loss registered by the game crashing. Game was using Flyers roster not my HUT roster. 

also Chel week and fresh ice keep giving me the same player in the set. It’s always the same player. Not sure if this is a bug too.
