Game freezes, lags and speed up.

Im getting really frustrated with the lag, freeze and speed up packet loss. Are the servers broken because it's happening more and more. I'm  a goalie so it's frustrating when it freezes, lags and speeds up on saves. Please fix tjis because it's on EA server side. It's not my internet this is the only game that does it. If you tell me to reset my modem I'll explode.

Something is causing packet loss. This is why you're getting that lag. There are a lot of different variables at play so it's not something we'd be able to diagnose. Especially not when reports of this same issue are so few. Do you play any other online modes in NHL 26? If so, does this also happen in them?

Are your family members also gaming or are they mainly online streaming media and doing general internet use? Video is buffered so when there's a small amount of packet loss, it typically won't be noticed. A game like NHL requires a very stable connection so even the smallest amount of packet loss is going to be noticed. It's a lot more demanding than something like watching TV/movies.

1.5gb fiber internet plugged in and I'm getting packet loss? Maybe nhl 26 is a little too demanding. How come I wasn't experiencing this before psn had that crash? Everyone else in the house is on the wireless connection and I'm plugged in. Only 3 of us live in the house. The ISP told me my connection is stable. I'm NANE if that helps. Should I just quit at this point?

Speed isn't the issue. Your speed is fine. You could have a Ferrari, but it's going to be speeding up and slowing down on a road full of potholes. What I'm saying is, there's something interfering with your connection causing packet loss. We don't have a way to detect that though. All we can do is make sure our servers are performing as well as they can be and at the moment, there are no issues that we're aware of.

It's very possible a technician needs to come out and thoroughly check everything in and outside of your home. It's not unusual to hear about some kind of damage to cables underground or some issue with equipment in the area.

I have a 1.0 Gbps cable connection and my connection to the EA servers is working perfectly fine with no lag.
