Lost Connection

Hi everyone,
I’m having the same issue with random disconnects — sometimes it happens right when starting NHL 26, and other times during WOC or online matches. I’m on a PS5 with a wired 1Gb/1Gb connection, NAT Type 2 configured on the router, and all necessary P2P and EA server ports opened and allowed for online play. I play GTA 5 Online, RDR2 Online, and FC 26 Online without any problems. So in my opinion, the issue is on EA’s side, not the user’s.

Hello. We're not aware of any server issues currently. Did this just start happening all of a sudden or has it been an ongoing issue? Have you tried the connection troubleshooting steps here?

Yes, I’ve tried and checked all those steps and guides, but it didn’t help. It happens randomly. I can’t tell exactly what’s going on in the background or what specific actions lead to it. The PS connection is always stable, only the online NHL 26 session crashes. I’m from Slovakia (Central Europe), and everything was fine before update 1.14.
It also happens in WOC mode, where it just disconnects me and I automatically lose RP, which is really frustrating. The developers should definitely fix that. It should be possible to program the system to detect when the game disconnects randomly for other reasons, not just when a player directly quits (DNF) — even based on how buttons are pressed on the controller and in the menu. (Just my note.)

Are you getting the disconnect screen saying you've lost connection to the servers or are you crashing?

The message on the screen says that I lost connection to the EA server, or it shows an error code with numbers. As I mentioned above, it happens randomly and not at the same time each day. Other online games work fine — only NHL 26 has this issue.

Same issue here. 

I'm getting disconnected every few cup chase games.. 

Instead of saying that you're not aware of any issues, we're telling you now, so now you're aware... Could you please escalade that issue?

We're not aware of any issues on our end that would cause you to disconnect. Have you tried the troubleshooting steps here?
