"content updating" bug-gameplay is significantly impacted

HUT "Content Updating" bug-for 3 weeks now my game has popped up a "content updating" message going into any game, any store menu, and set screen, in settings it shows "new version available" but clicking does nothing except pop up the same content updating message. i've deleted and reinstalled the game, cleared ps5 cache, tried restoring license. 

my players stamina dies instantly, my goalie does not move on any deke move, skaters have their "ankles broken" every stop/start, every loose puck ends up back on opponents sticks, goalie will not tie up a loose puck in front of net.

  • Same here for the content updating!!! Plus i get kicked out often during the gameplay by easervers witch result in a loss every time.

    Hello. We're not aware of any issues with the servers. Have you tried the connection troubleshooting steps here?

    Since friday night i get disconnected from

    easervers!! And if you go take Look on other NhL forums you will notice many players have the same problems.

    I have tried doing everything with my system. On the PS5, I have deleted other games to make more space. I have completely deleted NHL26 from the PS5 and then reinstalled it. I have "renewed license" on the game. I have changed my DNS settings. I am typically hardwired in with speeds over 750mbps, tried using wifi. I put my PS5 in Safe Mode and cleared my Cache. Other games are having 0 issues and even NHL26 was not having issues but for the last 3-4 weeks, its been "Content Updating" warnings and my gameplan is borderline unplayable. I am in some of the NHL26 player community groups on Facebook and posted asking if others had the same issues, sounds like others are experiencing the same type thing.

    The content updating message is intentional. It's not a bug.

    How is your game unplayable? Are you disconnecting or lagging?

    I added a bunch of commentary in my original post. Before 3-4 weeks ago, the game felt great, no issues. Then something happened where my players stamina dies instantly even at beginning of periods or at the beginning of their shift, my goalie does not move on any deke move, skaters have their "ankles broken" animation every stop/start even at beginning of shifts/periods (like it usually does only when players are using Ankle Breaker or my player is at the end of a long shift), loose pucks seem to glitch and ends up back on opponents sticks, goalie will not tie up a loose puck in front of net, passes from my players to another of my players miss by a mile again even at beginning of shifts or wide open. It almost feels like there is some bug in my gameplay that puts me immediately to gameplay as if it were the end of a long shift (with the loss of stamina and all of the animations that are supposed to be tied to players at the end of their shifts) and am showing that "Content Updating" error message every menu switch or as I enter into games and assuming the two are related. It is in ranked games, when playing Cup Chase, when doing Moments, its all gameplay.

    The only changes to gameplay are the ones listed in the notes for each patch.

    The content updating notice is not a bug and is unrelated to gameplay.
