THE SIMS MEDIEVAL

I’m hoping someone here has dealt with this before. I purchased the limited edition disc version of The Sims Medieval when it first released. It installed directly from the disc and originally just prompted you to register the game on The Sims website. It didn’t require Origin at the time.

Years later, I was still able to play it through Origin, which was the last time the game worked for me. Since Origin was replaced by the EA App, I haven’t been able to launch or access the game at all.

I still have the physical disc and the product key, and I paid for the game legitimately. It’s frustrating to lose access to something I bought just because the platform changed.

Has anyone found a way to get the disc version recognized in the EA App or otherwise get the game running again? Any help would be appreciated because I’d really like to play the game I paid for.
