Got to the final hole of a 3 hole playoff in career mode in Banff. Tied, on the green, sunk the birdie put to win and the game crashed to desktop with no error codes. Game just closed. Reload, it shows my progress being even going into the last hole, and as soon as the intro to the course is finished/skipped, it crashes immediately. Restarted computer, still shows my progress as starting hole 3 of 3 with cpu player being finished, crashes again right after course intro screen.

I have a repeatable crash. I just played the Amateur Cup in Career mode, and day 4 went to a 3-hole playoff.

Now, when I try to finish the 18th hole, as soon as I putt into the hole the game CTDs with no error, repeatably.

No error in event viewer either.

I do have CrashDump_*.mdmp available for these crashes, by the look of things.

Are you getting an error message? no, hard CTD
Is anything else happening? Game state not saved.
How often does the bug occur? 100% repeatable.

How can we find the bug ourselves? Career mode, play amateur cup and force a playoff at the end of round 4. When putting out at the 18th hole (last shot of playoff) the game crashes.
If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip... Nothing really to see here - the game just CTDs as soon as the putt goes in.

Hey @Szpaike Thanks for this, when you have a moment can we try the following and check if this continues?

Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance

Remove any over-clocking or undervolt settings or software and check if the issue continues.

EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)

Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from

EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)

EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)

Steam - Verify in your library

Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates

Default your game to the high-performance GPU, AMD Settings | Nvidia Settings | Windows Settings

Install/Repair your VC++ files for PGA Tour

If the issue continues would it be possible to get a DxDiag?

Update:

If you are crashing can you let us know the one being used in the client, and if changing it to something else, avoiding the latest 3 lines of new avatars fixes this? (try a different game's avatars outside of the one you have)

Update your Account avatar:

Launch the EA App

Select your Avatar in the top right

Select "my profile" > then "Edit my profile"

Next select "Edit Avatar"

This will launch your EA Account portal, Select the blue pencil to change the avatar

Hit Save

Confirm it updates in the client and try to launch the game.

i can play a few holes but then the games crashes to desktop.
i reinstalled latest drivers, even with DDU, nothing seems to help.

@GrOOvke You will want to add a DxDiag and possibly an MSINFO in order to receive the best support.

Summarize your bug Game is clearly not ready for release. Random crashes with message that my video driver crashed. It's a brand new PC build with top of the line components, the latest NVidia Game Ready Drivers and Windows 11. Intel 13900k, 64GB RAM, Geforce 3070 I'm running 3840x1600 Resolution on an ultrawide with FPS cap set to 60 and all other settings as detected. Game can run for about 5-10 minutes before crashing every single time.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load the game up on PC and start playing.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game freezes, I have to hit windows button to reveal tasks and there is where i see the windows message that says the video drivers crashed.
What do you expect to see? A working game.
