retrieving activation codes for steam
my playing team mate upgraded his computer and now when playing ea sports pga tour that was purchased through steam and he can't access the original activation email, it won't register or display properly on steam. We've searched everywhere and can't find any help on retrieving the code yet it is on his EA Play purchase history but absolutely no way to get the codes resent to activate the game on steam.
New computer means everything on steam must be re-registered, without that email and code it won't allow ,it, display it correctly, link or sync with steam properly.
HOW DO WE GET EA TO RESEND THE ACTIVATION EMAIL TO REGISTER IT ON STEAM? WE ALL KNOW THEY DO 0 TO HELP WOTH ANYTHING

Would it be possible to get a screenshot or video of the error your friend is running into?
To confirm if the EA Sports PGA Tour was purchased on his Steam account, and if he moved to a new PC. He would need to install Steam and the EA app clients and sign into the account that purchased PGA Tour (in Steam) and the EA account that was linked to that Steam account (in the EA app).
After he should be able to install and launch the game.
