Negative coins and gems after restore game

My tablet died and I had to reinstall pvz2 on a new android tablet. After loading it up and logging in my progress was restored  and my plants etc but my coins and gems are a huge negative number. When I try to access the help under the spanner it just throws a 404 error- page not found. When I try and contact EA through their contact webpage the advisors won't help me as they say I have to do it through the game but it doesn't work as above. Can anyone help?
