PvZ2 Game Progress Lost After Update – iOS

Question

Every time PVZ2 updates, my entire game progress is erased, and Iâ€™m forced to start from the tutorial.

What Happened:

I installed PVZ2 and started playing.
After an update, the game reset to the tutorial page, and all my progress was gone.
I reinstalled the game and started over, but after the next update, my progress was wiped again.
This has happened multiple times now.

Why does my game reset after update, and how can I stop this from happening?

honeystuff, you have to go on the EA help website for this.

( https://help.ea.com/en/help-home/ )

go to pvz2, and open a case about your lost progress. (send screenshots of your account and device number before and after the data loss) When someone contacts you in your emails about it, reply so they know its still a problem after a while, if all goes well, they will give you another email saying they got your account back. Only thing that doesn’t come back are which plants you’ve favorited, everything else will be there.

This worked for me and time for them to get the progress back varies.
