PVZ2 is simply a disaster now

Playing on iPad. There have been so many bugs in the past months and the problem with ads. But this week is a completely new level of problem. The game crashes more than it works. Despite crashing a number of times beforehand, I managed to purchase 24 gauntlets. I only got to successfully play like 5 of them, all the others were lost to a crash or a freeze. Even when the arena works, a bug sometimes shows up where the plants that are placed display only as a shadow.

Arena is not the only issue. The game now crashes in Penny’s Pursuit, during Ads, even on first launch on occasion.

I enjoy playing this game daily. Now it is completely broken and I have to find something else.
