I've looked everywhere, and no one seems to think that Wizard is OP. Is he an overlooked character in general, in terms of balancing, because he hasn't been touched. He has no recoil, doing 22 damage. His Zee-Lixir pretty much cures everything. His staff slam has an insane homing radius, and is pretty much guaranteed to hit. It does 80 damage. With the 2 headed-dragon back, you can stay as Co-Star for a whole match. It has homing. No recoil. And does 10 damage. He gets an ammo upgrade. A health regen upgrade for zee-lixir. An upgrade that allows him to do more damage with Staff Slam. IDK if I'm the only one, but this seems like a scary character.#Repairville. The community cares more about the game than its developers. That is actually hilarious. And yet nothing has been done. Founders' Anniversary soon and I guess we'll just be slapped with some stars to use in an expensive Rux. Oh Joy! I can't wait.

@gametrieuk I completely agree! If he joins a Brainium Basher or Steam blaster the combo is way too good. He should only be allowed to attach to weaker characters.

Has I've said in another thread, I think wizard is almost perfectly balanced. He is a extremely efficient support, he can attach to a zombie to make them more resistant, adds more damange and survivability to them as well. The thing that bothers me the most is the 22 crit damange, no recoil and the insane spell disaster. He deals so much more damange with the uncharged shots that is kind of pointless using the charged one most of the times. Why does it deals 17 damange and 22 crit? It seems kind of overkill for a suport character. And the god damn spell disaster... The 80 damange is also overkill for a projectile with homing to the point it almost never misses. He has very powerful tools to help the zombies but is kind of a easy target given his low hp and bad mobility. The changes I would make to make him slightly more balanced in my opinion: - nerf his normal shots to 15 and his crit damange to 17 - add little recoil and spread to the primary (something like electric slide)- buff the charging speed to help make the charged shots more viable - decrease the damange of spell disaster to like 60 so it become more of a finisher ability than a killing one. With the damamge reduction I don't think is necessary to nerf the homing of the projectiles.

Wizard is in a pretty good state really, double headed dragon bugs aside. Good luck using it to stay on a teammates head for an entire PvP match; you'll get sniped off fast these days as people know what to look for and a single charged cactus shot knocks you off and leaves you stunned.
Is he perfectly balanced? I can't say without actual performance data, but I've never had that much trouble dealing with them once we got used to them after the initial release. He certainly is fun and effective and can't be that far off the baseline of performance, they did a solid job with this character.

@Shadowphinx101 Well, in a way I agree, the magician's damage is higher than it should be, I think this damage is relatively high, that the spell disaster is broken I don't think it deserves 80 damage, but your support of it doesn't seem broken , the point is that if he decides to defend a character that is OP then his support becomes broken, if a wizard enters an imp, space cadet and all-star he will not become broken, however if the wizard enters an Brainium, steam blaster, 80's and engineer of this geometry its support becomes absurdly broken.

@benn1nat0r in a way the wizard is limited to giving support to only one person, the problem is related to the fact that the other characters need to be balanced for his support to also be

For now, you can use Citron as an effective way to deal with Steam Blasters, Brainium Bashers and Wizards. Ball a distance away from them and attack them from a distance. Shield if you find your health is starting to get low or a high-damaging attack is coming at you. You also could stun them or use Navel Laser.

I'm fine with wizard as is...I know if you asked me if I'd rather play team vanquish against a twosome, (zombie plus wizard), (plant plus sunflower) or a (zombie plus scientist) I'll choose wizard everytime as it's much easier to deal with.
Are these group ups super annoying? YES! But, the wizard combo is the much easier of the three to deal with.
