Costumes not available from Rux after installing Deluxe upgrade on Xbox One

My son bought and installed the Deluxe upgrade to Plants Vs Zombies Battle of Neighborville on his account, but Rux doesn't have the costumes that should have come with the game. He's vey upset. We've uninstalled and reinstalled both the master game and the add-on twice. No luck. Any advice?

Same thing here... we are on PS4 and we purchased the deluxe upgrade and we did not get the items.

Is there something we need to do?

Went to Rux a few times and still nothing.

I had to go back into the PS4 store and download the content...

I got it after the download.

double check if it was downloaded.

  • Let me know if you get this resolved some how, I am not getting the items either.

  • Same here, my wife, son, and I all claimed everything fine, but our daughter received nothing. She didn't get the deluxe items or the bulbs. Hope someone can help with this.

  • EA told me today that it's not a mistake, it is their policy.

My son is 12 and while I can give him permission to play the game online through X-box live, EA will not acknowledge he is permitted to play and are citing the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule: https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/complying-coppa-frequently-asked-questions

They also referenced their own site's policies: https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/online-access-for-child-accounts/#agerequirements

Personally, it makes no sense to me that he can play the game, but he isn't allowed to have the DLC or bonus content.

We're all pretty unhappy about it.

That makes zero sense. I enjoy playing, but I bought this game for my son. I'm sure there are a ton of people who bought it primarily for their children. People are going to stop buying Deluxe editions and Founder-type editions if kids aren't allowed to have the bonus content, on a kids' title no less. Missing out on cool stuff is a BIG deal for kids.

Whatever desire I had to get the deluxe upgrade is completely gone.

This makes no sense at all, especially given that the game is even rated E 10+

They have the game rated for 10y old and then not allow anyone under 13 have items in the game? They seriously need to fix this!
