Gw1 not being able to join friends? (Xbox)

So basically on Xbox I don’t know if it’s just because of the series x or what but I can’t join friends on garden warfare 1 it gives me an error message but I haven’t tried in a months so I do not know if this problem still persists but it would be nice to know whether this problem is fixed or not as it would not only benefit me but other players who still play this great game today.
