For the past several days trying to launch a multiplayer Gardens and Graveyards on the original Garden Warfare on Xbox One results in “There are no available matches meeting your criteria. Please try again later”.
2 days ago I kept trying over and over and after about an hour I got a match and there were about 20 people in the match and I was ok the rest of that session. Since then no luck.
Any idea what’s up?

Same issue. Garden Warfare has been unplayable for days. Is it dead? It’s the bes t game out there. Starting to consider if I should research setting up my own multiplayer server. Anyone know if that’s even possible?
Exact same issue, XBox Series X, error started just over a day ago. Occasionally after a long time trying it will throw me into an empty G&G match and won't let it start.
I can still buy packs from the main menu and change plant accessories.
I tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. Same issue.
A few years ago this issue persisted among the entire community across all platforms and was resolved after a few days without any announcement. The concensus seemed to be that a recent server deployment forgot to increment the build to match the latest client build and it was forbidding any client from connecting.
EA, please take a look at this. You just had a bundle deal and we were having full 12v12 lobbies just before this issue. Thanks!

I tested this out myself and got the same error. I did some digging and from what I gathered yesterday it appears the error is happening due to basically not enough players online playing. The volume is so low its just not matching anyone.
I called it out in my talks with some people and they will take a look but even with my set up I got the error because there wasn't anyone to match with when I tried. If I get info I will let you know but for now, it does not seem to be a game error but an error due to lack of volume in the game itself.

Full 12 x 12 lobbies? That seems so long ago, almost as if it were a dream... I've been playing for a few years now and this is the first time I've actually considered picking up a different multiplayer game as this one at times is just unplayable with all the quirks, empty maps, and connection issues. And don't get me started on all the low down dirty respawners. Seems like preventing people from respawning before getting vanquished would be a simple issue to fix but I doubt it will ever be addressed. It breaks my heart as this is truly the best game I've played with a great community. I don't want to take my peas and go elsewhere but spending an hour trying to connect, find full maps, or dealing with respawners who ruin the game for everyone else is starting to get tiresome.
