Forum Discussion
I get your point, and realistically, the chances might be low right now.
But low doesn’t mean impossible — especially when there’s still a strong and active community behind these games.
Garden Warfare 2 is years old, and yet people are still playing, still discussing it, and still asking for a sequel. That kind of engagement over time is rare, and from a business perspective, it represents real potential.
The most important part is that the community hasn’t just been asking for a new game — it has been consistently providing feedback, ideas, and improvements. If you look at YouTube, forums, and discussions, there’s already a clear direction for what a Garden Warfare 3 could be.
That reduces risk.
Instead of starting from zero, EA would be building on a formula that already worked, with direct input from a dedicated player base.
If executed well, a new Garden Warfare wouldn’t just appeal to nostalgia — it would bring back thousands of players who left and retain those who never stopped playing. That combination alone has strong commercial value.
So yes, the situation today might not look promising.
But the demand is still there, the community is still engaged, and the opportunity is still real — both for the players and for EA.
