PVZ GW2 infinite loading screen

So me and my brother were opening the game for the first time on an xbox 1 and we noticed that after we accept the tos it gives a quick grey tint centered on the screen filling abt 80% of the screen ...

    Alright so after a little bit of testing later and I have found the issue. You have to sync your Xbox account with an EA account in order for the game to work. Once I did this on my Xbox One, the game loaded in within a minute or so without issue. Hope this helps.

I am having the EXACT same problem on Xbox One and I don’t know what’s wrong, I just got a physical copy of the game yesterday and the same thing happens to me, it’s really dumb and there doesn’t seem to be anywhere that explains this unfortunately :/
