Support told me that i tried every possible fix they know and that they will relay it to the software department (game hasnt recieved updates in so long) and that they dont have an ETA for me.
2 days ago I installed the game and played after a long time with no problems, but yesterday i had the same problem as the first scenario you mentioned, yesterday i managed to actually make it load after turning off real time protection, i just tried it now again and worked first time
after trying it a bit the server regions show a unusually high ping, and trying to connect to multiplayer lobbies either says that it couldn't find a lobby or has problems connecting with the session, however singleplayer modes seem to work just fine
turning on real time protection after opening the game didn't seem to do anything
Tried turning off everything in windows defender and verify game files again but sadly didnt fix it
