Problems on 16:10 aspect ratio

Hi, I play on PC with a 1680 x 1050 monitor, and I have this issue, where some zombies are almost completely not visible on the seed selection screen, like this Snorkel Zombie on level 3-4. Is there any way to fix this, like running the game on a 16:9 resolution like 1600x900 or 1920x1080 with the black bars at the top and bottom? The only 16:9 resolution I can choose is 1280 x 720, which doesn't look great. :/
