Visual bug in PvZ Replanted PS5 – zombies with permanent sunglasses.

Question

Hello, I'm experiencing a visual bug in Plants vs. Zombies Replanted for PS5. All zombies appear wearing sunglasses, even outside of events or special modes.
I've already tried:
– Restoring licenses
– Reinstalling the game without deleting the save file
– Playing offline
– Disabling secret modes – Changing graphics settings
Nothing has solved the problem. The bug seems to be stuck in my saved game file, which I don't want to lose.
I would like to know if there is any way to fix this without losing my progress, or if there is any planned update to resolve this issue.

I've got this problem as well, on the Switch 2. At least in my case, the option to add or remove sunglasses was present before the 1.2.1 update. (game version was on 1.1.0) When I updated the game, the option was no longer available, but the sunglasses were still on the zombies, with no way to get them off.

Update: I found a solution. Growing the Tree of Wisdom to 50 feet tall re-unlocks the future sunglasses option.
