Trying to buy gems

I went to buy gems and it says my card is out of date but it is NOT! I tried to add the same card as a new one but that did not work and I really need gems please help

  • Three days ago, after the issue was fixed. I had this problem for months also, so I know your frustration. I lost a lot of badges because of it.  Honestly,  I think HP is the one who fixed my problem, after they cleaned up my pc, I was able to buy gems again. Maybe your pc's company can help you too.  Hope you solve your problem soon.

    Hello! Sorry to hear you are unable to use the gem option. Unfortunately, here in forums we are unable to assist with payment concerns. However, there are several steps you can take to try and resolve this issue.  

    1. Delete the card completely and try and reenter the payment information or select PayPal as your payment choice.

    2. Log out of Pogo & Clear All Cookies and Cache (Full Cleanup) Works for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari:

    • Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac)
    • Choose "All time" as the time range
    • Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files
    • Click Clear data

     

    Then try to purchase again or reenter payment information as seen in step one.

    3. Visit your EA/Pogo account and verify, change or update all information here > EA Help, log in using your Pogo credentials in the top right-hand corner. If you make any changes or updates. go back to the Pogo website and try again to make a purchase.

    4. Final step contact EA Help support to speak with someone privately about your account here. EA_Lanna has created a step-by-step guides for our community here > How to Contact EA Support

    Players have also reported these steps have helped:

    ✅ Change Browsers: Ad blockers, privacy tools, or even password managers can interfere with payment gateways. A different browser might not have those extensions installed.

    ✅ Incognito Mode (or Private Browsing): Incognito doesn’t use your saved cookies, cache, or login sessions. If Incognito works, it’s a strong clue that something in your regular browser—like cookies, extensions, or saved data—is interfering.

    ✅ Antivirus or Internet Security Software:  Add Pogo.com and Ea.com to your trusted sites or exceptions list. This prevents security software from blocking.

    ✅ Turn off your VPN if you're using one. VPNs work great for privacy; however, they can trigger security flags in payment systems.

    ✅ Windows 10 support officially ends on October 14, 2025, this may affect games, websites, and newer applications. To ensure continued security and performance, please consider upgrading.

  • I recently had my computer checked and it had been hacked. The tech did a lot of cleaning up and now I have had no issues with a lot of the games. Now I am able to buy gems again and what a relief. I don't know if it was Pogo or the tech who solved the problem, doesn't matter, it is fixed. Just a suggestion, getting your computer checked out. Good luck.
