Why did they start this code stuff? It's such a total pain. Never had it for all the years I've been a member but all of a sudden it's there - why????

This two-step authentication code ensures players are giving correct emails and telephone numbers. We have the ability to view our Pogo/EA accounts here and look at the settings > EA Help: Official support

While it can occasionally be inconvenient, I’ve witnessed the consequences of inadequate security measures.
