When a system becomes overloaded or is configured in a certain way, it automatically slows down or blocks processes to prevent overheating, crashes, data loss or when it detects potential risks.
Browser‑based games demand far more processing power, memory, and graphics capability than everyday tasks like checking email or browsing shopping sites. Because of this, performance issues that never show up during light web use can become noticeable when running a resource‑intensive gaming site.
Current Status: Pogo Sconnie has announced that we're investigating loading issues affecting Solitaire Home Story, Pogo Slots, Jungle Gin and Sweet Tooth Town for some players. I've tested these games on my end and they're loading, but they have recognized that some are still experiencing problems.
Immediate Steps to Try
Since gaming sites demand significantly more from your device than regular browsing (similar to running a mini-game engine in your browser), here are the most effective troubleshooting steps:- Clear your browser cache and cookies - Old data can conflict with game updates (don't forget to clean cache files too)
- Disable browser extensions temporarily - Ad blockers and security extensions can interfere with game loading
- Try a different browser - This helps identify if it's browser-specific
- Restart your router - Power cycle - Clears temporary software glitches, refreshes your connection to your ISP, can improve slow or unstable Wi‑Fi

- Update your graphics drivers - Laptop and PC users only (especially important for game rendering)
- Check that your browser and system have the latest updates and patches
- Toggle hardware acceleration on/off in browser settings

Some players have reported adding as a shortcut on their desktop has helped (also known as a Progressive Web App). This shortcut may improve stability, performance and bypasses browser rendering issues.
- Go to the Pogo homepage.
- Look for the box in the upper right-hand corner of the page and click it.
- A pop-up will appear — confirm the action.
- After that, check your desktop home screen and you’ll see a new Pogo icon there.
- Double click on the icon and log in Pogo through this shortcut.
- Don't like it or it didn't help, right click on Pogo icon on your home screen to uninstall (easy)
